We are home!!! As you can tell by this photo (not a great one of mom, but after 19 hours of travel and crying at the airport what are you going to do?) Lizzie and the boys hit it off right away. Our flight was long, long, long. We ended up in bulkhead which was pretty nice. Jeff and I were able to wedge Lizzie in between carry ons and she could play on the floor some. Cooper, Nate, my parents and Jeff's parents met us at the airport and it was a tearful, happy reunion. The boys were so excited to meet their sister and she took to them right away. She laughs and smiles at the things they do and loves to watch their every move. They wanted to help do everything for her; feed her, bathe her, play with her, but by evening they had realized she was a lot of work and started to do their own thing again.
Jeff, Lizzie and I are all suffering with jetlag. Sleep last night was tough. And I was surprised how sick Jeff and I feel. By Thursday evening we had been up 31 hours straight and we felt dizzy, light headed and nauseous. During the day, if we sat down we started to fall asleep so we just kept going. Jeff actually mowed the lawns, and we emptied all the suitcases and started laundry. The house was so nice and clean and neat when we came home (thanks Mom!) and now it looks like there was some kind of natural disaster(perhaps an earthquake or tornado).
Lizzie was in good spirits all day. She took a two hour nap and then I woke her up so she would sleep better at night. She laughed and smiled and played and then just crashed at 7:30 pm. She fell asleep sitting up and I couldn't even get her to take a bottle. It was short lived though, she was up quite a bit in the night. Going from four to five will take lots of adjustments. But first we have to get over the jetlag. And then in a few weeks we will all be in the swing of things.
Thank you again to everyone for all the great comments while we traveled. Although this is the "Final Chapter" of the China Trip we will continue to post pictures and entries. It just won't be happening every morning faithfully. So check in every now and then. We will be here!

Welcome home! the jet lag is hard..Here is what we did...we put her to bed at 7:30 or 8:00 and then woke her at 9:30m or 10:00 and played for about 2 hours or so and then put her back down. She then would sleep through the night. we slowly decreased the amount of time she was up. It took about a week. Good luck!
