The Force Is Strong With This One

Clearly, Lizzie fits right in with our household. This past Thursday(two days ago) marked three weeks home and an official month since Gotcha Day! She just continues to amaze us and become more and more comfortable each day.
I think if she had to pick her very favorite thing about her new home it would be her brothers. Lizzie has started crawling and is constantly heading whichever direction they are. Often times Nate and Cooper are going completely different directions and she just sort of scoots around in circles trying to keep up.
She also has decided that Jeff is pretty cool, too. His Magical Kiddie Mojo has been restored much to his and my relief! He now can put her down to bed, comfort her during the night, and hold her just about as much as he wants. It has just been in the last two days that she has warmed up to him so much. But now when he gets within her reach she scoots right over for a cuddle or some playtime. And the nighttime comfort is HUGE for mom who was heading into major exhaustion. Lizzie has blessed us a few nights by sleeping eleven hours without a peep. Most nights though she needs reassurance that we are there a couple times during the night. This is only a few back pats and retucking her under a blanket, but when it is one person it can get tiring.
All in all, she is just an amazing little girl. And Cooper and Nate are amazing with her. She loves to pull Nate's hair and he is being a pretty good sport about the whole thing. Cooper can maker her laugh and giggle with several games that he has created with her. And of course, she claps and dances to her favorite song, The Theme Song of Spiderman. And when her two big brothers sing Spiderman to her, she is just estatic with excitement.

Sounds like Miss LIzzie is thriving. Wonderful news that she has succumbed to Jeff's charms. Cannot wait to hear more about her soon!! Who could resist those adorable brothers anyway??

That picture of the kids with the light sabers is so cute!!! And I LOVE that Spiderman is her favorite song. Too funny. I remember signing that one (horribly off key) with my brother when we were kids. Remember that cartoon that came on every afternoon back then?
