Lizzie got to experience her first school wide
Read In.
Students are allowed to wear pajamas, bring pillows, blankets, stuffed toys and favorite books.
They spend the entire day just lounging around reading.
It sounds like my perfect day.
Maybe I should try my own Read In this summer.

This bunny went all the way to China and back in 2006. Lizzie still loves it.

Nate also went to school in his pajamas, but the upper grades traditionally change at recess. Both kids declared that the Read In was far and away one of their favorite days of school.
