Okay, it is hard to tell in the picture, but my recently groomed dog ($45!!) is now filthy. That's right...covered in mud. Yesterday, my husband did his usual "Extravagant House Project Right Before a Big Trip" thing that he does. He spent two hours re-seeding the front and back lawn. And what does the dog do? Two days after she has been groomed? She waits until all the new potting soil is nice and damp and rolls all through it!!! Argh! Pets! What are you going to do? And husbands for that matter?? Did we have to re-seed the lawn three days before we leave and two days after the dog is groomed? Why can't everyone abide by my nice little Type A plan? Clean house, clean dog, and Mom can leave for China. It's not too much to ask people!!
Gotta go wash the dog.
