OBNOXIOUSLY PROUD MOTHER ALERT!
If you find those mother's who excessively brag about the brilliance of their children too dull for words then you should probably NOT read this post. :)
Last week, we received a letter from Cooper's teacher to let us know that Cooper was chosen to be the Student of the Month for his classroom. It's a surprise for the kids and the parents are invited to the assembly to see their child receive their award. Cooper clearly had no idea and was so happy and surprised. His Nana and Grandma both joined me at the assembly. I don't think there were three prouder adults in the auditorium. Then on top of watching him get his little certificate and bumper sticker, he was in a skit with two other boys and got to announce winners of his school's accelerated reading program. He did a great job and didn't flub his lines at all. Clearly an amazing kid. Click on the picture of Cooper to see the photo stream of the assembly.
And just to answer the question I know is burning in your mind...YES, I will proudly display my bumper sticker, but it will mostly be taped in the back window. My husband forbids me to put bumper stickers on our car! Especially what he calls "My Kid Is So Cool and Yours Isn't"...type bumper stickers.
