Nate had a practice game today and besides being a little long for him, he thought it was pretty fun! He got to the be the first batter up, play catcher, and play pitcher. He wasn't too keen on playing catcher (way too much equipment) and asked me several times through the fence, "Do I have to do this all day?" He didn't mind being on the pitcher's mound although unless that ball actually touched him, Nate would just watch it roll by. The big deal today was Nate learned that when you hit a baseball off the tee you actually run to first base! Wow! Who knew?
