A couple of weeks ago Lizzie had a BIG week. First, February 7th was the 100th Day of School.

Now the 100th Day of School was exciting enough, but on that very day Lizzie was also one of the students awarded Student of the Month in front of the entire school!
Obviously the cutest student chosen in my humble opinion and the only one wearing a crown.
Granddaddy was there with me, but refused to be in this picture because he was sure the lighting would be bad. Hmph. No blog picture for him!!
Lizzie took her 15 minutes of fame in stride. When asked if she was surprised, she shrugged and said, "A little..."
Then February 11th Lizzie and Jeff attended the Father/Daughter Princess dance at school.
I love this picture. Jeff "pooh-poohed" Prince/Princess attire. Lizzie told me he was the ONLY DADDY not wearing a tie. Apparently there were even crowns and capes. Jeff more than made up for it though with a milkshake after the dance. He knows the way to his girl's heart.
Valentine's Day and the Kindergarten Heart Party arrived on February 14th.

All that in seven days!! Such a busy life for a 5 1/2 year old girl.
