Apple Day
Apple Day in Lizzie's class was last Friday...
There was coloring, painting, cutting, tracing. There was measuring, mixing, stirring, cooking, and mashing. There was peeling with an old fashioned peeler. Of course, there was much eating of applesauce! For the record, I thought the applesauce tasted more like apple pie filling. Yummy!! Lizzie agreed.

No way, that is so cool!! The girls have to bring an apple to school one day next week and I had no idea why -- I wonder if they're doing something like this (I hope I hope).
Lizzie looks so grown up I couldn't even believe it.
