We'll we've actually been sleeping in our newly fixed up house a little over three weeks, but honestly it hasn't felt like home until just recently. We've been crazy with unpacking, setting up Christmas, working around our contractor and other workers as they finish up "punch list" items and made our backyard concrete porch, and still finding time for end of school parties and shopping for Christmas. It's been a little nuts.
Now, after a lovely Christmas with family we've just finished up a couple of days of really relaxing and settling in ourselves. It's been so nice. Yesterday, I didn't get out of my pajamas until about 3:00 p.m. Heaven.
So, we're back and the blog will be updated much more often rather than the quarterly schedule I've been on. Next on my list is to create a Christmas card...well, a bit late for that...maybe a Happy New Year card...although that's only four days a way. Hmmmm...perhaps we'll shoot for a Happy Martin Luther King Day card this year. There should be cards to celebrate MLK Day don't you think? However, I really don't want to put undue pressure on myself.
Looks like we'll be sending Valentines instead of Christmas cards this year.
