We have so much candy in our house! Help! Our kids started trick-o-treating with the neighbor kids about 6:30 p.m. and the boys didn't get home until 9:00 p.m.!! Lizzie and I called it a night about 8:00 p.m. She loved handing out candy to a few more trick-o-treaters almost as much as she loved getting candy herself. Our small group of kids and parents, there were sixteen of us, hit two full blocks(four streets) and then the older kids went on to a street around the corner that is known for really putting on Halloween. Most hand out full size candy bars and almost every house is really decked out. The boys loved it. Lizzie woke up this morning and spied all their large size candy bars and demanded, "Where is my big girl candy!?!?!" So I think they might be sharing some of their stash.
All in all it was a very successful Halloween. Thanks to my folks for coming over for dinner and handing out candy so Jeff and I could take the kids out together. They do this for us every year and it is so wonderful. So much fun to go out as a family.
