Imagine our surprise last weekend when we walked into the Oakland Zoo with our travel group mates Claudia, Jay, and Echo and there was Santa! The Oakland Zoo was having a Claus and Paws event and for a mere $5 donation you could get a chance to tell Santa what you wanted for Xmas and get a picture. Jeff and I were dumbfounded when Lizzie tore over to Santa and tried to push her way to the front. She couldn't wait to sit on his lap. We were expecting a much different reaction, but were very pleasantly surprised. All three of our kids were too shell shocked to use their time wisely. They forgot to say anything to Santa other than "Hi." But the picture was nice.

Hey Rod's going to be home the week of Christmas and can watch the girls so I can zip away and meet you and Stacey for Bear Breakfast or something... if you're going to be around give a yell.
