Disneyland!! We started the day as early as we could and were on our first ride of the day (Star Tours of course) at 9:00 am. We decided we would stay as long as our kids could stand it. Around 2:00 pm we all started to wilt, but just in the nick of time we were given a shot in the arm by the arrival of our friend Chris and his son Nick. Nick is nine years old and has season passes to Disneyland so could give Cooper and Nate the low down of the place. He soon had the boys jazzed and ready for another few hours of Disneyland. After awhile Lizzie decided that Chris looked fairly safe and let him hold her for several minutes during our wait for the Haunted Mansion! Jeff and I loved the break! 28 pounds in your arms while you wait for rides gets pretty tough! Then right before dinner, Jeff's cousin Brandy, his wife Gina and their youngest son Zach met us too! More energy! We all went on a few rides, had dinner and Brandy even had the patience to watch Nate in the Star Wars store. After a few hours Lizzie decided that Brandy was a good guy after all and could hold her too! Brandy, Gina and Zach said goodbye as it got dark and pretty soon it was time to stake out a spot for fireworks. Chris, Lizzie and I held our spots while Jeff took the boys on a few more rides. We stayed all the way through the fireworks. Both Lizzie and Nate fell asleep in Jeff and my arms during the show, but it was something to see. Cooper LOVED it. By the time we got back to our car we had been at Disneyland 14 hours!! Amazing!! It was such a fun day!
