Okay, so after becoming completely addicted to reading other blogs I decided to make one of my own! This is a great way to keep family and friends updated on the goings on of our adoption and family. We decided almost a year ago to begin our dream of adopting a little girl from China. We forged ahead on the paper chase and even though we went through two months of Jeff's unemployment were able to finish in five months exactly! On April 1,we sent our completed dossier to our agency CCAI and it was logged in to CCAA in China on April 27. So the wait began. We are now four months down. We are told the wait for referral is 6-8 months and we are crossing our fingers for sooner rather than later. The referrals are mailed once a month in large batches. The latest news from our agency is that CCAA is matching people with log in dates (LID) for the entire month of February. This would be great news. We shall see.
