We spent the afternoon beating the heat at Vasona Park today. We had discovered a little cove with a sandy/rocky "beach" and a pretty calm current previously this week and the boys were begging to go back. So off we went today with a picnic lunch. We spent over two hours hiding in the shady trees and cooling off in the COLD water. We ended the afternoon with a train ride before we headed home. It was a great way to spend the day.
