Lizzie and I started our Mommy and Me swim lessons. LIzzie loves being in the pool as long as she can keep her face out of the water. If she thinks she will have to put her face in she clings like a barnacle. She is currently a Starfish. In order to "graduate" to a Tadpole she has to willingly put her face in the water. I'm thinking we'll be a Starfish for quite awhile. She likes kicking and splashing and playing with the toys. There is a big floating hippo too. The kids sit on it and the parents sing as we push the hippo around in a circle. At first Lizzie seemed highly suspicious of being on the floaty, but then decided she really liked the songs. All in all, it was a very successful first lesson.

Good for her! We finally signed Grace up for lessons, only to find she already knew how to swim! we just never took the floaties off!
